Where: Huddart County Park, Woodside (Sequoia Group Area)
Who:
All Girl Scout Ambassador, Senior, and Cadette troops in Girl Scouts of Northern California are invited. Registration is first-come, first-served. We are limited to 24 teams, so early sign-up is important. You may come and camp with us for the weekend, or just come for the activities on Saturday.
Notes: Girls must be in at least the sixth grade to attend.
We do not have room for spectators or tag-alongs.
Overview: Competition occurs all day Saturday. Troops must check in either by 8 PM Friday night or by 8 AM Saturday morning. Park gates are locked between these hours. Campfire and Girl Scouts Own are on Saturday evening. The awards ceremony is held on Sunday morning. Troops are encouraged to wear or bring troop identifiers. Remember you must dress for competition and safety.
Fees: $18.00 per girl if received by early-bird registration deadline, $25 if later. Girls and adults may purchase a Skills Camporee patch their first year for an additional $2.00 and a star for each succeeding year for $1.
Note: There is a Park entrance fee per car collected at the gate. Be prepared to pay $6 cash only per vehicle per night. Exact change is helpful as you may have to fill out the self-serve envelope or there could be a long line.
Preview Day: Held on a Saturday well in advance of competition, typically morning to mid-afternoon. The idea is to get a flavor of what's involved, not to learn it all.
All new troops are strongly encouraged to send a group of at least three (3) and no more than ten (10) girls and/or adults total to learn more about the special skills required. There will be previews and/or explanations and tips. It is NOT a full hands-on training. Complete information is in the manual for troops to practice before competition.
The manual will be available on our email group in the file area before Preview Day. We recommend that you bring copies for reference and taking notes.
Skills Camporee charges a one dollar ($1) fee per person (both girls and adults) attending. This will be collected when you check in.
Huddart Park charges a per car fee as listed above.
Preview Day will be held at Huddart Park. The exact site and directions will be announced in an email to those signed up.

Note: if there are insufficient sign-ups, training could be cancelled.
Registration: Opens Jan 3.
The registration form and the list of all supplemental forms [such as troop roster, Health History forms, photo releases] can be found in our email list group. See link at top of this page for how to join.
Your registration fee may be paid either by check [one for the entire troop] or online.
Deadlines are in the email group. If we have filled up before these dates, we will contact you about either being placed on the waiting list or having your registration returned.
Meeting the deadlines does NOT guarantee a space if we are already full.
An email acknowledgment of registration will be sent within two weeks of receipt.
All necessary information will be posted on our groups.io group approximately 10 days prior to event.
A troop's registration fee will be refunded only if cancellation is received by the specified date.
