To Kids From Kids will be working with VESTIA, The Volunteer Center of the East Bay, to distribute the gifts collected to children.
To Kids From Kids Kick-Off Event
- When: Sunday, November 16, starting at 2PM
- Where: The Grove Park in Clayton, at Marsh Creek Rd. and Main St.
- Hosted by: Girl Scout Junior Troop 31895 (Clayton)
- Activities:
- short walk, refreshments, games, children's activities, and prizes.
- Who: All Girl Scout Troops and the public.
- Bring: A new, unwrapped toy or other gift (See our Project Specifics page for suggestions)
- RSVP: If possible, contact Christine Mitchell.
Distribution (Packing) Day Logistics
- Wednesday, December 10, 2008
- 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Note: We may finish earlier. - Girl Scouts ages 11-17
- To sign up for a 2-3 hours shift, please contact Christine Mitchell.
- Please let Christine know if you can help transport toys to Martinez on Thursday, December 11.

Clayton.
Directions:
From Concord take Clayton Road past Ygnacio Valley Rd.
From Walnut Creek, take Ygnacio and turn right on Clayton Rd.
Both: Go approximately one mile on Clayton Rd. and turn right on Mitchell Canyon Rd.
Turn left at the first STOP sign, onto Pine Hollow Rd.
The school is at the corner of Mt. Zion and Pine Hollow. The MUR is right in front.
